Today I’m sharing 3 EASY tweaks you can make to SELL MORE of your online courses.
Now I don’t know if you know this about me…
But I’ve been creating and scaling my own online businesses since 2007 (no need to do the math on that one 😉) … and in that time I have created and launched 12 different online products, programs and courses.
YEP… I said TWELVE!
Most of them went on to sell 6-figures or more…but a few were total flops.
But from all this I have learnt SO much, including a few simple tricks and tweaks that can really help you to sell more of your offers than ever before.

The 3 simple tweaks you can make to sell more are…
#1 Tweak to sell more online courses – Add a downsell or an upsell
Now these are examples of what I call “mini-funnels” or “funnel optimisers”, but you can use them for your live launches as well.
These are just a simple, automated sequence you set up once, and can use again and again.
So what are these mini-funnels?
They’re either an upsell funnel or a downsell funnel.
A downsell funnel is offering a smaller or lower priced offer and can be sent after your launch, to the people who haven’t purchased…but showed interest (viewed your sales page, clicked on the link in your email etc).
Some people just aren’t ready to purchase your offer…it might be because of money, time or trust in themselves…so you give them something smaller, an easier ‘yes’ – that taste test of what you offer to get them started. So they don’t miss out completely.
An upsell funnel offers a higher priced offer to those people who did buy the initial offer. It can also be an extra little something that is going to help them get even more out of the original offer (a VIP version).
Choosing between an upsell or downsell funnel comes down to what is easiest to set up and what is going to be the most profitable for you.
#2 Tweak to sell more online courses – Offer a longer payment plan
Now this next trick is an option that is working really, really well right now.
One of my clients simply added a longer payment plan to her offer…and it tripled her last sales (and it was the only thing she did differently).
The extra long payment plan means that your offer is instantly more accessible to so many more people….and if that’s right for your target market…it can mean a really big uplift in sales.
Incentivise people as many people as possible to choose the pay in full payment option so you get that initial boost of cash flow, but also introduce that longer tailed approach of recurring payments coming in.
#3 Tweak to sell more courses – Add a funnel
Did you think I wouldn’t mention a funnel?
The strategy of “launch stacking” can be really effective. So when someone hasn’t purchased during a launch (perhaps the timing wasn’t right), but in another 2/3/4 weeks later they might be ready to purchase…you can present them with another opportunity to buy (the same offer or a different one). This can end up converting really well.
So having a simple automated sales process set up…can be a great little asset for your business (and that you can use again and again in so many ways).
Another benefit of a funnel is that even when you’re not launching…you’re still making sales!
So there you have it – my 3 favourite (and easy) tweaks you can make to your existing launches and offers to help you make more sales TODAY!
